More Older Blog Rants
Mood:  on fire
Now Playing: Still Podshock
This is something I have been rolling around my head for a very long time and have never able to answer.
What right does the government of the United States or for that matter any country have to tell me what to do. I understand there need to protect their self interest and citizens but beyond that what right do they have to tell me how I should act, what behavior is expectable or what they expect of me.
In my whole life I have never, ever agreed to follow their rules of laws, I never gave them any type of authority over me. I never signed a pledge or taken an oath that promised to follow their way of life. Why do they have the right to consider me an American and expect me to walk the line they lay out.
Just because my parents decided to give birth to me on this soil does not obligate me in any way.
It was never my choice to make. So there forth I feel no guilt when I fracture a law I never agreed to follow in the first place. As I see it force people to follow laws, regulation
s and lifestyles they never agreed to is just short of social slavery.
